New Billboards In Lexington Ask Drivers To Call God

Updated: Tue 7:00 PM, Sep 25, 2007

It's not often we see a billboard along the road with a religious theme, let alone a message direct from God.

But a Lexington woman says she wants to help the man upstairs get his message across.

Pamela Honchell runs an ad agency in Lexington called Monarch Productions. She used her own money to contract for three new billboards that went up around town Tuesday.

Honchell says she felt a calling to create the signs and pay for them.

She hopes drivers will realize the message, and become closer to God.

Two clients have since stepped up to help with the billboard project.

Billboards with a similar message were put up along Winchester road last spring.
