Very slow moving showers and thunderstorms will move into our area overnight and Sunday. The potential for flooding will be heightened in southern and eastern Kentucky.
Interstate 71 in northern Kentucky is back open after a deadly crash involving three vehicles.
Two people died after two tractor trailers and car crashed on I-71 in Boone County.
This happened just before 4 p.m. Wednesday near the Walton-Verona exit.
Authorities say a car lost control in the northbound lanes, crossed the median and hit a semi in the southbound lane.
The truck jack-knifed and another semi couldn't avoid the crash.
Both people inside the car were killed.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
