Interstate 71 in northern Kentucky is back open after a deadly crash involving three vehicles.
Two people died after two tractor trailers and car crashed on I-71 in Boone County.
This happened just before 4 p.m. Wednesday near the Walton-Verona exit.
Authorities say a car lost control in the northbound lanes, crossed the median and hit a semi in the southbound lane.
The truck jack-knifed and another semi couldn't avoid the crash.
Both people inside the car were killed.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
