Southern Kentucky Church Destroyed By Fire

Video will be available shortly

A southern Kentucky couple that pastor a church say they've been the target of a hate crime.

Fire destroyed the Jesus Christ Chapel in Wayne County early this morning.

The cause is under investigation, but the ministers think it was no accident.

Pastors Cornelius and Maggie Anna Duncan say they're used to threats and criminal acts against them.

A year ago they say threats against them scared away their congregation at Jesus Christ Chapel. Now the church is completely gone, destroyed in a fire they think is suspicious.

Cornelius Duncan says he was remodeling the church and putting in new electrical wiring. He was hoping to re-open the church for worship in a few weeks.

The Duncans say the church was not insured, but they will rebuild.
