Some of central Kentucky's top small businesses were recognized Thursday night.
The Greater Lexington Chamber of Commerce held it's 22nd annual Small Business Awards celebration at the Marriott.
Bill Straus of Bill Straus photography was named independent profession of the year.
Premier Mortgage Group, owned by D. McGinnis Mitchell and John Shackelford was named minority business of the year.
The small business of the year is Preston-Osborne Marketing Communications and research owned by Phil Osborne.
