Burglary Suspect Caught After Police Chase

A search is over for a suspect in a string of burglaries in Bourbon, Clark and Fayette Counties.

Just before 10:00 Thursday night, police spotted Weston Flannery in Scott County and a chase ensued. Police say during the chase Flannery crashed his vehicle near Carrick Pike.

Police then chased Flannery on foot then he managed to escape.

Helicopters, K9 units, and police from three different departments were called out in the search for Flannery.

Just before 11:00, police arrested Weston Flannery on the campus of Bourbon County High School after officers say he crashed another stolen vehicle into a police cruiser.

Police say Flannery then took off on foot, but was caught and arrested by Paris Police.
