Kentucky Bull On The Loose In St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (AP) - Humane Society investigators say they believe they've discovered a missing bull in downtown Saint Louis. It has been on the loose after a double-decker truck carrying 62 Kentucky bulls overturned on a bridge ramp.

Missouri Humane Society spokeswoman Jeane Jae say the animal is in a wooded area (around 3800 South First Street). She says it's not clear what condition the bull is in, as investigators are still trying to round up the animal.

Seventeen bulls died after the truck overturned early yesterday.

Animal rescue crews said the bulls were headed from Kentucky to a feed lot in Colorado when the load shifted and the truck overturned.
