Tractor Trailer Accident Causing Backups On I-75

Breaking news in Scott County where a tractor trailer has caught fire on northbound I-75.

Right now, the interstate is back open, but traffic is moving slowly in both northbound and southbound lanes.

The accident happened near Exit 125. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and the cause of the accident is unknown.

Witnesses say the tractor trailer caught fire shortly after the accident, and drivers from passing cars stopped to pull help pull the driver out of the vehicle. The driver suffered minor injuries to his ankle.
