Posted: Mon 11:36 AM, Aug 23, 2010

The defense began presenting its case Monday morning in the murder trial of a central Kentucky doctor.

Two witnesses took the stand this morning, including Dr. Steven Hall's son.

The Danville Advocate Messenger reports 15-year-old Matthew Hall testified his mother, Isabel, suffered from many medical issues, and her behavior was sometimes erratic.

Dr. Hall is charged with killing his wife with a pontoon boat at Herrington Lake last year.

He claims her death was an accident.

The trial began last Monday.
