A three year-old Nicholas County boy continues his battle against a rare form of e.Coli.

Connor Roberts is listed in fair condition today at Kentucky Children's Hospital.

The illness is attacking his internal organs and blood, causing his kidneys to malfunction.

Doctors are keeping a close eye on the boy, fearing his kidneys may fail completely.

They're still working to find where the boy contracted the illness.

His mother fears he may have gotten e.Coli from eating salad.

Right now it's not clear if tainted lettuce is indeed the cause of the little boy's sickness.
