Search For Victim In Lake
Emergency crews recovered the body of a man who disappeared while fishing in Pendleton County.
State police say the 24 year-old Michael Thomas Pollard disappeared around 3:30 p.m. Monday when the boat he and a 17 year-old passenger were riding on overturned on Kincaid Lake.
The 17-year-old was able to swim to safety.
Rescue crews found Pollard's body around 2:45 Tuesday morning.
Pollard is a volunteer firefighter in Falmouth. He leaves behind a wife and two small children.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.
