Christmas Toy Drive Gets Second Chance

Video will be available shortly

A popular program to help Lexington children celebrate the holidays is getting a second chance.

The Lexington Fraternal Order of Firefighters will keep its Annual Christmas Toy Drive this season, thanks to community support.

Earlier this year, they made the announcement that they didn't have enough money or resources to pull it their toy program this year, after 75 years of providing toys to underprivileged children.

Shortly after that announcement, companies from around the area stepped in to bring the toy drive into it's 76th year.

It is to be held at the former Champs Roller Dome on Palumbo Drive on December 15th, which was donated rent free to the F.O.F.

They are asking everyone to donate new or gently used toys or give money to the cause.

Sign ups begin October 31st. More details to be provided at a later date.
