Students at the University of Kentucky broke a world record last night.
Thousands gathered just before midnight on the Johnson Center Field to take part in the world's largest water balloon fight. The Kentucky Kernel reports more than 5,500 people took part, launching 153,497 water balloons. UK had held the record until July, when Brigham Young University broke it with around 4,000 particpants and about 120,000 balloons.
