Mercury Spill In Central Kentucky Doctor's Office

Updated: Tue 8:25 AM, Oct 02, 2007

Emergency workers remained on the scene into early this morning, cleaning up a mercury spill at a doctor's office in Winchester.

Firefighters say a blood pressure monitor broke Monday at the Chamberlain Clinic, causing the spill.

No one was injured and the office was evacuated.

Workers were called in to decontaminate the building on Bypass Road.

It's uncertain if the office will be open today.
