Lexington Police Search For Carjacking Suspect

Police are searching for a man believed responsible for a violent carjacking in Lexington.

Just before 8 pm Monday night, someone fired three shots at two men sitting in their car.

Police are now looking for that gunman who took off in their car.

This morning, police searched an apartment building on Augusta Drive, near where the carjacking was reported, after receiving a tip that the suspected carjacker was in one of the nearby apartments.

The suspect was nowhere to be found.

Today, police continue their search for the man who was involved in the violent carjacking.
