Not Guilty Plea From Mother Whose Baby Ingested Cocaine

A Boyle County woman whose son was found to have cocaine in his system made a court appearance this morning.

Ashley Carrier had a not guilty plea entered on her behalf.

Carrier and her sister, Jessica Coffman, face felony assault and wanton endangerment charges.

18-month old Ty Willhite spent several days at Kentucky Children's Hospital after testing positive for cocaine.

Both sisters will be back in court tomorrow for a preliminary hearing.
