A week after a man was killed in a hit-and-run, state police say they've made an arrest in the case.

36-year-old Donnie Ketterer, of Carroll County, was arrested Wednesday afternoon. Kentucky State Police charged him with leaving the scene of an accident and failing to render aid involving death.

Police say Ketterer's car hit Aaron Martin on a Carroll County road August 25, but he then drove off.

The crash killed Martin, who was from the Ghent community.

Ketterer was lodged in the Carroll County Detention Center.
