Police find body while investigating shooting

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Police discovered the body of a dead man
in a Brandenburg home while investigating a shooting between two
brothers in Louisville.
Louisville police arrested 43-year-old Jeffrey Lay after they
say he shot his brother in the head on Wednesday evening. Lay was
charged with attempted murder and his brother is recovering at a
hospital.
Kentucky State Trooper Bruce Reeves told The Courier-Journal
that during questioning, Lay told police about another shooting in
Brandenburg.
Early Thursday morning, troopers found the body of another man,
identified as 53-year-old Danny Embry, in Brandenburg. State police
are investigating Embry's death.
Lay was wanted on charges of second-degree robbery and
second-degree escape from Louisville Metro Community Corrections
Center, which houses people on work-release programs.
