A teenager is dead after being hit and struck while sitting in a roadway.
It happened just before 5-o'clock Saturday morning in the Quicksand community of Breathitt County.
Police tell NEWSFIRST 14-year-old Joseph Crank was sitting on the traveled portion of Highway 1812 when a car struck and killed him.
An investigation continues into why the 14-year-old was sitting in the road.
