33-year-old Gary Bancroft is now in the Franklin County Detention Center. State police say they are 99.5% sure the woman he's accused of killing was Renee Mobley. The two lived together at this home off Bardstown Road in Anderson County. Around 12:45 Saturday afternoon a 911 call came through that someone may have been murdered there.

"They had both ends of this road blocked off right here," says Ray Hoskins, who lives next to the home.

Hoskins is Bancroft's only neighbor. When police weren't able to get into the home, they filed a search warrant and came back a second time. That's when Hoskins says police warned him to stay away from his neighbor's house while they surrounded the home with their guns out, forcing Bancroft to surrender.

"Both of them was just as friendly and outgoing with me I never would have thought it. I just wished I would have knew where I maybe could have done something whenever this happened," says Hoskins.

Autopsy results are scheduled to be released Monday.
