Wilmore firefighters say everyone escaped from a complex at a retirement community when it caught fire Sunday.

Firefighters say a vehicle caught on fire inside a garage on Wesley Drive in Jessamine County.

The fire spread to the attic of the four-plex.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the attic.

One unit sustained damage, though. The man who lived there won't be able to stay there for at least the next day.

Firefighters say the retirement community has found him another place to stay.
