Man Fires Shot At Officer; Manhunt Underway

Video will be available shortly

A Paris Police officer's close call with an armed man overnight sparks a massive manhunt in Bourbon County.

The officer says the man fired at least one shot toward the officer, just off Second Street.

Paris Police called out Lexington Police's helicopter, as well as K-9 units to search a field and creek bed behind Highland Lane and Kelly Street.

Paris Police are saying the suspect matches the description of William Greer, a man accused of murdering his girlfriend in Texas. Greer was recently featured on "America's Most Wanted."

Last week, he was found living in Georgetown, but slipped away before being captured by police.
