Lexington Woman Tackled After Shooting

A Lexington woman is tackled to the ground after police say she fired shots in near two daycares.

Police say Victoria Colmenares, 18, woman fired three shots out the window of her apartment at a male subject.

Police say she was shooting at someone she knew.

Witnesses say they had been arguing when he went out the front door.

It happened before noon Thursday morning on Snow road near Man O' War and Richmond roads; while two daycares were in session.

One daycare was just across the street from where police say the woman fired a number of bullets.

Colmeneares is charged with resisting arrest and wanton endangerment.

Police say one was hurt during the shooting.
