Teen Charged In Connection With Deadly Crash Returns To Court

A Fayette County grand jury will soon hear the case against a Fayette County teenager, accused of letting an underage friend drive.

Police say 18-year-old David Childress let 14-year-old Larry Chowning III get behind the wheel.

Chowning crashed into a fence and died along Bryan Station Road in late July.

Childress faces five counts of wanton endangerment.
