Some may say Eddie and Tracy Montgomery are living the dream. Eddie is half of the multi-platinum selling country group Montgomery Gentry.
He's used to the spotlight, but when it comes to Montgomery's family it's a different story. Recently an incident outside the Montgomery's Central Kentucky home has Eddie fearful for his family's safety.
Earlier this week neighbors say they spotted a green mini-van parked outside the couple's Boyle County farm. Eddie and Tracey say the same van was also seen following a school bus while their children were onboard. Then one day when the Montgomery's 11 year old son stepped off his bus someone in the van yelled out. Montgomery says the strangers in the van called his son by name. Terrified, the boy ran down his driveway and into the house.
Police say they looked into the situation and say the two men in the van were just star struck fans and don't have a criminal record. Still Eddie says they're not sure what the men were up to. The Montgomerys say they just want other parents to be on the look out for anything unusual happening in the area.
When it comes to fans, Eddie says he welcomes them talking to him but not his children.
