A popular web based company announces they're adding 400 new jobs in Lexington.
Amazon.com says they're hiring for permanent positions in warehouse positions as well as area managers, operations managers and facilities managers.
The company will also be hiring workers for its human resources, maintenance, shipping and receiving and loss-prevention departments.
Hourly workers start at $11 per hour for the day shift and $12 at night. Amazon also offers medical benefits, paid time off and stock grants.
People interested in applying are urged to attend one of four weekly job fairs, which are being held every Wednesday this month from noon to 6 p.m. at Amazon's warehouse at 1850 Mercer Road.
