Pulaski Man Dies Of Injuries Week After Vehicle Crash

LEXINGTON, KY -- A Somerset man died Sunday of injuries he received a week ago in a motor vehicle accident in Pulaski County.

Fayette Deputy County Coroner Shea Titlow says 65-year old James W. Johnson's ultimately fatal injuries occured Saturday, Sept. 29 on U. S. 27 at mile marker 19. He was declared dead at 7:19 a.m. today. Titlow said the cause of death was multiple blunt force trauma.

Johnson had been transported to U. K. Medical Center following the mishap. Funeral arrangments are being handled by Lake Cumberland Funeral Home in Somerset.
