Shed Fire Damages Home

The quick work of firefighters kept a Frankfort home from being severely damaged.

The Frankfort Fire Department was called to a home on Owenton Road, where they found a detached garage fully engulfed.

Four people who lived inside a nearby home were able to get out safely.

Shannon Minks, one of the woman inside, says she was unaware anything was happening until she heard her mother's cries for help.

Minks says her father used the shop to work on special projects.

The home did suffer some damage on the backside near the garage.
