A paramedic is facing charges in Boyd County after police say he was transporting a patient while on drugs.

Steven Ray Marcum was arrested in Ashland this morning, after police say they pulled over his ambulance for running two red lights.

He allegedly failed a field sobriety test, then tested positive for drugs.

Marcum now faces a D.U.I. charge, even though it's not alcohol related.
