Spotlight Lexington events scheduled for Monday postponed because of weather

Lexington city officials say Spotlight Lexington events planned today have been postponed because of the rain.

The performance from Robbie Bartlett has been rescheduled for 8 p.m. Wednesday in Cheapside Park.

The performance by The City has been rescheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday at the Courthouse Plaza.

City officials say food vendors at Spotlight will make their own decisions about whether they want to open Monday.

However, the Brown Bag Special program will still be available.

City officials say half price tickets to Tuesday's events at the World Equestrian Games will be sold Monday afternoon beginning at 4 p.m. in Cheapside Park.

Spotlight Lexington is scheduled to resume Tuesday at 5:30 p.m., weather permitting.

On Tuesday, The Stella Vees are scheduled to perform at 5:30 p.m. at Cheapside Park, followed by The G. Busy Blues Revue at 8 p.m.

The Juggernaut Jug Band is scheduled to perform Tuesday night at 7 at the Courthouse Plaza.
