Two Arrested On Animal Cruelty Charges

Two people from Flat Gap in Johnson County are facing animal cruelty charges, after sheriff's deputies say they found more than one dozen dogs at the home in the sun without any water.

They say Jimmy Marsillett and Maudie Roberts were both arrested.

The deputies also say one of the dogs had to be put down because it had severe wounds to the back of its legs.
