Those who break the law or University of Kentucky regulations will not be tolerated.

That's the word from UK President Lee Todd Tuesday night.

He issued a statement in an email to UK students and staff after an editorial cartoon in a recent issue of the Kentucky Kernel sparked campus protests.

President Todd says the protests have been peaceful, but a couple incidents crossed the line. He says such incidents will be investigated fully, and those responsible will be dealt with.

Todd says all steps are being taken to ensure student safety.
