Hate Crime Investigation At UK

Police on the University of Kentucky campus are investigating a reported hate crime.

The Courier-Journal reports someone scrawled a racial slur on an African-American student's dorm room door, at New North Hall.

UK Police say patrols around the dorm have been increased, and dorm staff have been asked to be vigilant about checking student ID's.

UK President Lee Todd sent out a campus-wide email saying he will not tolerate people who break the law or university regulations.
