Investigators are on the scene of a deadly fire in Boyd County.

It broke out around seven this morning at a home in the Meades Community.

Three people inside died, despite efforts by a nearby firefighter to save them.

A family member at the scene tells us the victims are a 51-year-old male, a 63-year old woman and a 70-year old woman.
That family member also says all three are related.

A fire fighter who lived nearby tried to rush into the burning house and rescue the victims.

But officials say the fire was just too much for him to get inside.
At this time, there is no sign of foul play and no word when the names of the victims will be released.
