Posted: Thu 5:53 PM, Oct 11, 2007

A construction accident claims the live of a northern Kentucky man.

Witnesses say 38-year-old Ricky Smith was foreman of a crew doing grading work along a road in Kenton County when one of the trucks backed over him.

Witnesses say when the driver realized what he had done, he stopped, pulled forward, and ran over smith again.

The Dry Ridge man, who worked for a Lexington company, died while being flown to the hospital.
