UK Football Game Security Plan Announced

Video will be available shortly

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Commonwealth Stadium won't be the only placed filled with plenty of the color blue on Saturday when U-K hosts top-ranked LSU.

There will be additional members of city, state and university police on patrol in the neighborhoods around the stadium before and after the game to look for parking violators and unruly behavior.

Several other security measures have also been adopted after residents complained about fan conduct following Kentucky's victory
over Louisville earlier this season.

The university has opened extra parking areas, the city has given "no parking" signs to local residents and repainted yellow no-parking areas around the stadium so they are easily visible.

Lexington mayor Jim Newberry says it's important to celebrate the team's success, but that the city wants to make sure fans do it
in a safe and responsible way.
