A new era of Kentucky basketball tips off Friday night.
Billy Gillispie will lead the Wildcats in his first, Big Blue Madness.

Crews put the final touches on the event Thursday night at Rupp Arena. They've been working on the show for 4 months.

We're told there will be a lot of surprises for the fans this year including the way the team and Coach Billy G. arrive in the arena.

Doors at Rupp Arena open at 7:30. The madness begins at 9:00pm.
