A northern Kentucky mother charged with killing her husband will not get her $1 million bond reduced.
Cheryl McCafferty is accused of shooting her husband in their Fort Thomas home.
NKY.com reports defense lawyers have been trying to get McCafferty's bond reduced since her arrest in June.
The judge says she would consider holding a bond hearing October 26th, if she is presented with new information in the case.
McCafferty has pleaded not guilty, and says she shot her husband, Robert, because he threatened to kill their two children if she didn't kill herself.
