The risk for strong and severe thunderstorms will be on the increase late this afternoon into the evening. The Storm Prediction Center has placed the entire area in a slight chance for severe weather through Wednesday.

Candlelight Vigil For Estill County Man

Tonight a candlelight vigil will be held for an Estill County man killed in a motorcycle crash in Georgia.

31-year-old John French of Irvine lost control of his motorcycle and hit a Toyota Camry Wednesday night.

The vigil will take place at the Estill County Courthouse starting at 830pm.

American Red Cross, local media join forces for tornado relief
