Lexington Police catch up with a robbery suspect who had been on the run for weeks, during a traffic stop.

Police caught up with Jason Riley when they pulled him over at Winchester Road and Walton. Officers say they used pepper spray to subdue Riley after he ran from the car.

Police tell 27 NEWSFIRST Riley robbed a cashier at the Perkins on Richmond Road last month, after ordering two blueberry muffins.

He faces a number of charges this morning including first degree robbery, fleeing and evading police, and giving a false name/address.
