Plea Deal In Animal Abuse Case

Posted: Tue 6:09 PM, Oct 16, 2007

A Kenton County woman accused of neglecting more than 100 animals makes a plea deal today.

Investigators say they found rotting carcasses and live animals in Emily Mardis's home in Visalia.

Only five dogs were left living, the other one-hundred and three animals were euthanized.

Northern Kentucky News reports Mardis denies neglecting her animals, and wants her dogs back.
