It's happened again. Gas prices took another big jump Tuesday in Lexington.

Some stations are selling gas more than 30 cents higher than they were yesterday.

Many drivers say they're fed up, since prices seem to fluctuate so much.

27 NEWSFIRST spotted most stations in Lexington selling a gallon of regular unleaded gas for just under $2.90 Tuesday afternoon.

But what's happening here may have a direct link with what happened overnight in the Middle East.

Oil barrels jumped to a record high near $88 a barrel, after rumors Turkey was planning some sort of attack in Iraq. But that never happened.
