A five-year-old girl is being treated for injuries after a mobile home catches fire in Rockcastle County late this morning.

Fire officials say they were called around 11:30 this morning, to a home on KY-461 near the Pulaski County line.

Although officials arrived in just a few minutes, the home was fully engulfed in flames.

Neighbors got the two residents, a mother and the five-year-old, Brandy Bishop, out of the home. While the mom was apparently uninjured, Brandy reportedly suffered some first and second degree burns.

Brandy is in critical condition at UK Hospital.

Investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire.
