Lexington Police arrest a man they believe could be involved in as many as four attempted break-ins overnight.

Only 27 NEWSFIRST was there as police took Paul Lee Harris into custody on Red Mile Road.

Police responded to the first burglary report, just before five this morning on South Upper.

In that incident, a woman in the home got into a fight with the suspect, when he allegedly tried to steal her purse.

Police also think he tried to break into homes on Foreman Avenue and Unity Drive.

Police have charged Paul Lee Harris with criminal trespassing.

Harris could also face several burglary charges and even a robbery charge.

Lexington police say Thursday morning's burglaries are similar to some other unsolved crimes in Lexington. Police are investigating the possibility that Harris is responsible for several sexual assaults at Newtown Crossing Apartments and near the UK Campus.
