Lexington Leaders Seek Help
Lexington leaders presented a united appeal for money to support several different projects today.
The Appropriations and Revenue Committee heard those requests at the Keene Barn in Lexington this morning.
Kentucky leaders, including Mayor Jim Newberry and University of Kentucky President Lee Todd, banned together to present the budget request to lawmakers from Frankfort.
Represented by the united appeal.. were the City of Lexington, Bluegrass Airport, University of Kentucky, Kentucky Horse Park and Commerce Lexington Inc.
