For the first time ever, ESPN GameDay has come to Lexington for UK football.

Kentucky takes on defending National Champion Florida at Commonwealth on Saturday.

Construction of the GameDay set here on campus began Thursday morning using the W.T. Young Library for a backdrop.

GameDay requires a big investment from ESPN. They spent all day Thursday building the stage and loading in equipment. Friday, they were back to set up their cameras.

UK officials say they expect close to 15,000 fans to turn out for the show.

Their biggest crowd was four years ago, and officials are hoping they get to break the record.

The GameDay show begins at ten o'clock Saturday morning.
