Family Looking For Answers After Cemetery Is Damaged

Video will be available shortly

Was it an act of vandalism or a hit and run?

That's the question one Estill county family is facing after a number of their family member's graves were destroyed Wednesday night.

The family says the graves have been destroyed two times before at the cemetery off Dry Ridge road.

Some of the headstones date back to the early 1800's. It appears someone drove over the fence and the headstones.

Kentucky State Police are investigating the incident as a hit and run which is a felony offense.

If you have any information your asked to call state police.
