Human Remains Found At Construction Site

Updated: Wed 1:40 PM, Oct 24, 2007

We have new information on the humans remains that were discovered at a construction site in southern Kentucky.

The Pulaski County Coroner tells 27 NEWSFIRST that the bones appear to be historical in nature.

A worker using a back hoe dug up the skeleton in an area off of Boat Dock Road in the Woodland Trail Subdivision last night.

Earlier this morning, police were on the scene conducting a criminal investigation. But now, officials say the bones are at least 100 years old.

The remains will be turned over to UK Archeologists who will be on the scene later this week.
