Outdoor watering restrictions are lifted for customers in seven Central Kentucky counties.

Continued cooler temperatures, significant rainfall and slightly increased river levels have warranted the immediate and complete lifting of outdoor watering restrictions for Kentucky American Water customers in seven counties.

Company officials made a request, which was granted, to the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government for restrictions to be lifted for customers in Fayette County.

The company has also advised other regional officials regarding the lifting of restrictions for its customers in Bourbon, Clark, Harrison, Jessamine, Scott and Woodford counties.

Kentucky American Water customers in these seven counties have been under mandatory outdoor watering restrictions since August 28.
