Some students at Midway College are scratching their heads, after being told that they may not be able to get their teaching certificates.
The college reportedly has lost its accreditation for on-line and accelerated teaching degrees through the School of Career Development. The Educational Professional Standards Board is responsible for accreditation.
An email sent to students last week by the Provost, Dr. Sarah Laws says the college is appealing the ruling and thinks the outcome will be in the students favor.
