A Southern Kentucky man is in jail accused of crashing his car into a grocery store and hitting two people.
The accident happened Thursday evening at Jones Grocery off of Kentucky 1804 near the Lot community, not far from the Tennessee line.
The Whitley County Sheriff says Carl Musick drove his car through the front door or the store and hit two people inside.
They were air lifted to a Knoxville hospital for their injuries.
Musick is charged with assault and driving under the influence of drugs.
The sheriff says witnesses told them Musick was upset over an incident at the store involving money
